Privacy policy

In effect from 15 October 2026. Published by Crit Publishing Pty. Ltd., Australia.

The short version

  • Turbostrife has no accounts and asks for no name, email address or phone number.
  • Your progress is saved on your own device. If your phone's backup is on, the phone keeps a copy in your own Google account; we never see it.
  • The game sends us nothing about you or about how you play.
  • There is no advertising in the game.
  • There is nothing to buy in the game.
  • The game does not use the internet at all.

Who we are

Turbostrife is made and published by Crit Publishing Pty. Ltd., a company in Australia. For anything about privacy, write to contact@critpublishing.com.

What the game keeps, and where

WhatWhyWhere it is kept
Your progress: what you have unlocked, your times and best runs, your garage and your settings. If more than one person plays on the device, each has their own, under a nickname picked from a listSo the game is as you left itOn your device. If your phone's own backup is switched on, Android also keeps a copy in your Google account, so your progress can come back after a reinstall or on a new phone. That copy is yours: we cannot see it

What we do not collect

We do not collect names, ages, email addresses, phone numbers, photographs, contacts, voice, or location. The game does not use the camera or the microphone. There is no chat, and no way to send a message to another player or to us from inside the game.

The game has no analytics: it does not report to us which events you play, how long you play, or anything else.

The game does not send crash reports to us. If you use Google Play, it may collect its own reports about crashes under its own policy and your device's settings.

Advertising

Turbostrife shows no advertising, and contains no advertising software.

Purchases

There is nothing for sale in Turbostrife. It contains no purchases of any kind.

What the game is allowed to do on your device

  • Nothing that reaches outside the device. The game does not ask for access to the internet, so it cannot send anything anywhere.
  • Vibrate, for bumps and crashes. It can be switched off in the game's settings.

Children

Turbostrife is made so that a child can play it without anything being collected about them. It has no accounts, no chat and no links out to social networks. If you are a parent or guardian and have a question about your child and this game, write to contact@critpublishing.com and a person will answer.

Seeing, correcting or deleting what is kept

Everything the game keeps is on your own device, so it is yours to remove: uninstalling the game, or clearing its data in your device's settings, deletes it. If your phone's backup holds a copy, you can delete that in your Google account's backup settings, or switch backup off for this game there. Because we hold nothing about you, there is nothing for us to send, correct or delete; if you believe otherwise, write to us and we will look.

If you are not satisfied with our answer you may complain to the privacy regulator where you live. In Australia that is the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

If this policy changes

If the game ever starts to collect something it does not collect today, this page will say so before that version of the game is released, and the date at the top will change.
